Gem Freestanding Woodfire Oven Base

The Gem Freestanding Base is a purposely designed and built mobile hearth cooking surface made in New Zealand. This robust Pizza Oven Base is designed to be placed onto the surface of any suitable solid platform or table. We recommend a minimum footprint of 1m x 1m.
 
Our base can be coupled with our own Piazza Gem Wood Top Table or onto a table that you have made yourself. The Gem Freestanding Base is one of our most popular pizza oven hearths because of its ease of installation and it's mobility.
 
Our base materials are made up from a durably designed powder coated steel which has been carefully sandblasted, etch primed, and double coated in satin black paint. This coating is specified to handle the harsh New Zealand climate.
 
The amazing cooking surface in these pizza oven hearths is made from 30mm thick granite which is bedded into our specially formulated cementitious compound to ensure you are provided with a very efficient heat transferring battery.
 
Our vision in this base design makes for the best cooking experience on the market in the domestic pizza oven class. We dub this technology Efficheat™ because these bases prove themselves to be amazingly efficient in conducting heat and staying hot under pressure when you are enjoying your pizza party.
